How much does it cost to rent a villa in Bali
A villa listing shows one number, but the final cost depends on five things: the area, the number of bedrooms, the rental term, what is included and the season. Below we break down each one and show current prices by area from our live catalog.
What drives the price
Area. Villas in Canggu cost more than in Kedungu for the same number of bedrooms. The difference comes from infrastructure, proximity to cafes and the ocean, and demand.
Bedrooms. Each extra bedroom raises the price by roughly a third. A two-bedroom villa and a four-bedroom villa in the same area are priced like two different products.
Rental term. Long-term rentals, a month or more, use a different rate than nightly bookings. A monthly rate is almost always better than the sum of nightly rates for the same period.
What is included. Usually the pool, garden, scheduled cleaning and internet. Utilities, electricity during heavy air conditioner use, and linen changes are often billed separately.
Season. Bali's high season falls in the dry months, and prices rise accordingly.
